Timothy Aycock

Dr. Aycock views life as most invigorating when we fully discover and use our unique giftedness. Whether we are children, adolescents or adults, we become most alive when we remove or minimize barriers that mask our talents. Anxiety, depression, explosiveness and disorganization can cloud our perspective. Troublesome memories may also surface and impede our journey. Dr. Aycock enjoys facilitating the growth of individuals and families and watching them soar.

Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). He comes to ANSCC with a rich variety of life experiences that inform his counseling, including service in church leadership, missionary work, government service, the military, and non-profit community service.

Jeff specializes in couples and marriage counseling, men’s issues, trauma, stress management, anxiety, depression, and spiritual concerns. He enjoys working with couples and individuals to uncover the thoughts, behaviors, relational patterns, and personal history that have shaped their current circumstances. Drawing on his training and experience in trauma treatment, Jeff has walked alongside men and women as they process memories related to traumatic events.

Relational at his core, Jeff believes that all of us are seeking meaningful and authentic connections.

Dr. Karen Bisgay specializes in psychotherapy with adults, ages 20-120. Her general approach involves helping people who feel “stuck” in their lives and experience emotional suffering to become more self-confident, peaceful, and better able to reach their goals. Dr. Bisgay teaches her clients to live more in the present moment without judgment and helps them to let go of suffering that they have been holding for years. As a result, clients develop adaptive coping skills, self-acceptance and clarity regarding what is meaningful in their lives. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Bisgay provides individual and group therapy, mindfulness-based psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, and Brainspotting.

Rachel Hopkins

Rachel Hopkins

Rachel Hopkins is a Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor who works with children,
adolescents, adults, and seniors to support individuals through life transitions,
process grief, and find meaning in life’s choices. Rachel also believes grief
and loss is not always physical – we grieve loss of hope, loss of identity, loss
of expectations, etc. Using an Acceptance and Commitment approach, Rachel
is here to help clients enjoy the present moment and receive thoughts and
feelings without judgment. By confronting and working through difficult
emotions, versus avoiding or dwelling on them, the focus can be turned to
healing and setting intentional goals.

Rehabilitation Counselor with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation after
completing her internship with an intensive outpatient facility treating
coexisting substance use and mental health issues in young adults. Rachel
completed her practicum with a private practice specializing in chronic illness
treatment.
Additionally, Rachel has taught Montessori as a certified teacher (American
Montessori Society), specializing in infants and toddlers.
When she’s free, Rachel can usually be found working on her artwork,
spending time with her pets, or backpacking in a national park.

Yoko enjoys tea ceremony, Zen gardening, hiking and classical music in her leisure time.

Josh Mustain, L.P.C., approaches psychotherapy and counseling as a collaboration between himself and those with whom he works. Josh believes that the possibility of actualizing some of the changes that many of us desire in our lives comes from the power that is inherent in the counseling relationship and in the sharing of common goals within that relationship. In his private practice, Josh aims to aid individuals in minimizing stress in its many forms, discover methods that serve to reduce anxiety-based symptoms, disrupt depressive mood-based behaviors and beliefs, instill competency with regard to emotional regulation, and uncover the ways that previous adverse or traumatic experiences continue to inform one’s reality. Josh is a published author, with a publication in Addiction Research and Theory, a journal which aims to discover and elaborate on ways to theoretically and practically approach the problem of addiction. He has held workshops with topics ranging from technology use and its impact on socialization and family, conceptualizing and intervening on substance use disorder, and harassment in the workplace.

Josh resides in Newnan with his young children. He has been a long-time resident in both Fayette and Coweta counties and both of his parents were educators. Josh’s father, a former recording artist, instilled a love of music in Josh, who has been playing guitar for more than 20 years. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and hiking/backpacking.
