Barry Hull

MD, Certified Master Psychopharmacologist

 

Dr. Barry Hull provides medical psychiatric services to patients with a goal of healing: not just making patients better, but making patients well without suffering side effects from their medications. As a Certified Master Psychopharmacologist by the Neuroscience Education Institute, Dr. Hull uses his expertise to manage medications (both the effects and side effects) used to treat the conditions of depression, anxiety, AD/HD, bipolar, insomnia, and other mental health conditions. He has more than twenty years of clinical medical experience and has spent more than ten years focusing on treating mental health disorders.

Dr. Hull practiced family medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, for eight years before relocating to Fayette County in 1999. He then practiced another thirteen years at The Doctor’s Office in Peachtree City, Georgia, before joining A New Start Counseling Center, Inc. He is the founding physician and Medical Director of A New Start Medical Center.

Personal

Dr. Hull has been married for 25 years and has two daughters who were schooled in the Fayette County School System from kindergarten through 12th grade. He enjoys doing anything with his family and has a passion for continuing education not just in medicine but also in history having completed hundreds of hours of courses through The Great Courses.
